VLOG: The Cleanse is Complete!

VLOG: The Cleanse is Complete!

Good morning, Rebels, and welcome back to my life!

It’s another beautiful day here in sunny Southern California, and today I want to talk to you about something that happened in the video game world recently that—what’s that?

You say you want to know where I’ve been and why I haven’t made a video in, oh, two hairs past a freckle?

Guess I should have known I wouldn’t get away with that. Well, listen, here’s the deal. For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been doing this thing.

This thing is like a body cleanse program. You spend a lot of time in a sauna and you’re on this vitamin regimen that just flushes all this crap out of your body.

No special crazy diet or whatever, just, you know, eat healthy, lots of vegetables, that kind of crap.

So you’re sweating a lot of crap out of your body. And not to get too graphic, but crap is leaving your body…in more ways than one.

But the main RELEVANT point is that the program takes five hours a day, and it’s about a half hour away. So all told, it was six hours out of my day, every day.

That, combined with the absolutely vital, if-I-don’t-do-it-I’ll-go-broke kind of work on my plate, meant I had to edge YouTube videos out of my daily schedule.

And I’m really sorry about that. Because I’ve really missed this. My camera’s just been sitting there. In the corner of my room. Staring at me. Sadly.

However, the program is done now! And holy crap, in addition to all the extra time I get back in my day, I feel GREAT. Seriously, I haven’t felt this healthy since I was a kid.

It’s funny, you know, throughout our lives our bodies just accumulate all kinds of toxic crap—chemicals, toxins, drugs, radiation and crap.

Now it can be a little or it can be a lot—and, like, I don’t have any history with drugs except caffeine and nicotine and alcohol, and not much of those.

Well, except caffeine. I mainline that stuff.

But without a real drug history, and I mean, like, not even pot, I thought I was pretty clean, you know? Pretty sharp, all cylinders still firing up there.

But now that I’ve flushed literally EVERYTHING out of my body, it’s like a whole new world has opened up.

And it just kind of highlighted for me that there are a LOT of toxic factors in the world that we kind of tend to ignore, because individually, they don’t have much effect.

But there’s preservatives in almost everything we eat, and chemicals from insecticides and pesticides, and pollution in the air we breathe.

And no, none of it is bad enough that it will kill you, or even increase your health risks THAT much—but it definitely seems to have some kind of mental effect when it piles up for years and years.

You know, I’ll be the first one to talk about the value of hard work and praise those who go through hell and high water to turn out a lot of product, whether that be an artistic product or a more commercial one.

But every once in a while, we have to take some time out to take care of our own spiritual, mental and physical well-being. So that’s what I’ve been doing, and I hope you understand.

Anyway, like I said, it’s done. So that means, among other things, that I can return to my regularly scheduled YouTube programming.

And hopefully be even better at it. I have a TON of things I want to talk to you guys about.

But I also want to know what YOU guys want to talk about, so hit me up in the comments and tell me what’s been going on with you recently and what you want to see here. You know I love to hear from you.

Also pop over to VlogaNovel because, of course, I’ll be picking up production on that again now that I’m on a more regular schedule. And yeah. Let’s hang out again.

Thanks for watching, Rebels, thanks for your patience during my absence, and I will see you tomorrow. Definitely. Byyye.
