This Week’s Creations (3 November 2014)

As you may or may not know, I have a Patreon page, where for a small regular contribution, Rebels can not only get access to all of the art I create each month, but additional exclusive content that no one else gets to see.

One of the things you do when you create a Patreon page is post your “creations.” For many Patreon creators, that’s how they get paid. You can have people sign up to give you a dollar “per creation,” for example. So if you’re a YouTube musician, and a patron pledges a dollar per video, and you post a video a week, you get a dollar each time you upload a video.

This is cool. But I quickly saw that I couldn’t do a “per creation” Patreon page. I post vlogs every weekday. I (usually) publish a book a week. I also post VlogaNovel videos. And I’m now posting video game Lets-Play videos. That would be several creation posts EVERY DAY, and I’m sure my Patreon patrons would find that annoying.

On the other hand, once I discovered that Patreon sends my patrons an email EVERY TIME I post a creation, I got gun-shy. So if you’re a patron, you might not have received an email for a while and consequently might think I haven’t been creating anything.

That would not be correct. I was just afraid of spamming your inbox.

It wasn’t until a couple of days ago that I came up with what I believe may be a good solution. This post is the first one of those. One weekly post, summarizing everything I’ve been up to during the week. I’ll post this as my “one” Patreon creation during the week, and then my patrons can come here to see all the stuff I’ve done over the past seven days.

If you’re a patron, I’d love to hear your thoughts. (If you’re not a patron, why not consider it? For only $5.00 a month, you’ll get EVERY BOOK I publish, when I publish it. Even just with Nightblade, that saves you money. When you factor in my other books, it’s quite a bargain. You can sign up here).

Without further ado, here are this week’s creations:
