Today we added more than 10,000 words to our first draft.
If you don’t know much about me, that might sound impressive. And I mean, it’s good, I know I’m a fast writer, but I can hit much higher than that. 10,000 is what I consider my minimum viable product.
But still! After not hitting my minimum viable product for a SINGLE day this year, hitting it today felt pretty good. And I hit it before January was over.
Now we’ve got to sustain it. I’ve got a lot of big plans in Legendary—and as the company grows, the plans are only going to get bigger and bigger.
In other news, the other day Meghan found a house in Oregon that we could buy, like, RIGHT NOW. With the money we have. I just…I want to be up there so bad. I know she does, too, but she feels obligated to stay for the rest of the school year.
Arrrgh. I’m very, very done with L.A.
But while I’m here, I’m going to enjoy the sun and my friends…except I’m not, because I spend all day locked up in my office, speaking to no one. I’m always working—on writing, or on YouTube, or something. Some probably think I’m miserable cooped up here all day. They don’t know I love it. That I’m happier here in my little cave, or out spending time JUST with my family.
I just wish that “out” was there, and not here.
