A Holiday Special

A Holiday Special

Hey there, Rebels.

The holidays speed toward us with all the speed and energy of the running of the bulls, and about as much grace. Already you can hear Christmas music blaring from car windows and storefronts—if you’re one of those odd creatures that actually leaves your house every once in a while. I wouldn’t know.

If you’re anything like me, holiday shopping can become quite stressful around this time of year. You think you know your friends and family, but when it comes time to pick out a gift you find your mind empty. I have never once had an easy shopping experience for my wife.

Nightblade, by Garrett RobinsonMy favorite people to shop for are big readers. First of all, I get where they’re coming from. I, too, love curling up with a good book and letting the hours slip by while my mind’s in another world.

More importantly, I LOVE LOVE LOVE sharing a book the other person hasn’t read. If I’ve read a fantastic book—especially an indie book—and I know my friend hasn’t heard of it, I feel like a big damn hero for bringing it to their attention.

But even when shopping for a reader, you can run into problems. What if you don’t read the same books that they do? What if you don’t read at all?

Maybe you’ve considered getting them an Amazon gift card. But how blasé is that? Nothing personal to it, just “here is a plastic representation of money so you can get what you really want.” There’s no, “Hey, I got you this thing you haven’t heard of, and I think you’ll REALLY like it.”

Because let’s face it, the gift of a new discovery is at least as valuable as the monetary value of the present itself. And if you don’t think that’s true, then I think you’ve never had the joy of finding a brand-new book or series that you really, truly love.

So then, how to introduce a reader friend to a new author you enjoy? (Say, the one who owns this website?) And how to make your present to them EVEN MORE awesome, EVEN MORE cool, with a personalized touch that takes the gift from great to amazing?

Rebel Yell, by Garrett RobinsonWell, this might make things a little easier for you. This holiday season, I’m offering signed copies of all my print books through Amazon.

On that page, you’ll find all six of my print books—Touch: Trilogy, Hit Girls, Midrealm, Wyrmspire, Rebel Yell and Nightblade. The links on that page will take you to an Amazon listing for a signed copy of the book.

In case you’re not familiar with them all already, each book is listed with its genre and a brief description. You can pick and choose the title that’s right for your friend, making your selection even more personal.

Got multiple readers on your shopping list, and want to save some dough? You can also buy the full library—all six books—for $75.00, a 20% discount. That lets you give out six presents in one.

Or keep them all for yourself. Heck, I’m not gonna judge you.

So give something new and exciting to the readers on your holiday shopping list. Click here to check out my autographed print catalog, find the title that’s right for your friend or loved one, and place your order.

Do it quick, because remember, I’m shipping this book with my own two hands. If you want to make sure it gets to you in time for the holidays, order sooner rather than later.
